Time-traveling heroine Shen Yuan possesses divine powers and a spatial dimension, marrying the lame fisherman Chen Haisheng. After marriage, she goes beachcombing and gathers herbs to make money, single-mindedly aiming to split the family and stand on her own. She returns to her natal home to fiercely retaliate against the Shen family who abused the original owner, ransacking and burning down the Shen family house. Shen Yao clings to a fake young master, gets deceived and loses her chastity, resulting in the destruction of her family. Shen Yuan goes beachcombing for treasures, makes her own snorkeling tools, explores island seafood, and even teaches her husband's younger sister to save private money. Conflicts with sisters-in-law Liu and Wang completely erupt, and she subdues them with sheer force. Shen Yuan plans to build a house, raise chickens and ducks, and try pearl cultivation; the couple's affection gradually deepens as they look forward to the new life of their own small family.
