Five years ago, delivery courier Lin Chen nearly died in the scorching summer heat, saved only by street sweeper Uncle Zhou offering him half a bottle of water. Having achieved great success and wealth, Lin Chen sets up free charity water stations across the city. However, Wang Guilan's family relentlessly hoards the water, squanders it, and even resells it for profit while turning hostile when confronted. Lin Chen quietly gathers evidence and sets a clever trap, forcing the greedy family to pay a heavy price. Yet the ultimate retribution is not total destruction, but guiding them to wake up through labor and genuine goodwill. In the end, the family transforms from charity vandals into protectors, letting the warmth carried by a single bottle of water touch the entire city.
