Aquaculture technician Xu Lin holds his moral ground and refuses to use banned molting hormones and antibiotics. In retaliation, his unscrupulous boss Zhao Dahai docks his pay and kicks him out of the shrimp ponds. Xu Lin leases ten mu of low-lying swampy mudflats to raise fine wild crayfish using an ecological rice-crayfish co-culture system. With 100% natural, premium quality, he makes a sensational name for himself at the night market, humiliating corrupt competitors. In the end, he revitalizes hundreds of acres of abandoned ponds, restoring the true ethical path of aquaculture in the water town with a heart that reveres nature.
