Wealthy Family's Son Test: Grandfather Disguises Himself as a Poor Old Man to Probe Human Nature
Lu Family Chairman Lu Huaishan discovered that his eldest grandson, Chen Jingran, had been lost for twenty-six years. To test his character, he disguised himself as an ordinary old man to secretly probe him. Chen Jingran, who grew up from a grassroots repair shop, is untempted by money and possesses a righteous character, having been raised painstakingly by his adoptive mother Chen Xiulian running a breakfast stall. Undercurrents surge within the Lu family as the second uncle Lu Zhenhai, coveting power, murdered his elder brother and abducted his sister-in-law back then, and furthermore engineered a tampered paternity test to frame Chen Xiulian. Step by step, Chen Jingran unearths key evidence such as a jade lock and an accident vehicle, uncovering the truth of twenty-six years ago at the board meeting and clearing his adoptive mother's grievances. Though returning to his ancestral roots, he does not forget his ordinary original aspiration, taking care of both mothers while setting out to reorganize the Lu Group.
