We're Not Buying the Wedding House Anymore: I'll Keep the Four Million for My Retirement
Wang Jing, a retired teacher, wants to get back the deposit on a problematic 4-million-yuan wedding home, but her future daughter-in-law, Xu Qing, makes things difficult for her at every turn, publicly tearing up the contract and forcing her to kneel. Zhou Guodong, a business tycoon whom Wang Jing once saved from certain death, arrives just in time to help her and expose the scheme by which Xu Qing and her mother planned to pocket the deposit. Yet Wang Jing's son, Chen Hao, blindly takes his girlfriend's side, breaking his mother's heart. Xu Qing and her mother persuade Chen Hao to stage a pitiful act and return home, hoping to steal the original share certificates in Wang Jing's possession. Completely disillusioned with her son, Wang Jing sets a trap to test him and catches him stealing in the middle of the night.
