Lin Xia is naturally "literal-minded", taking every single word others say and executing it seriously. Facing the flamboyant green-tea performances of her boyfriend's buddy Bai Yiyi, she dismantles them every time with extreme literal execution, causing countless absurdly hilarious iconic scenes, which leads to her drifting apart from her boyfriend and finally breaking up. The unwilling Bai Yiyi conceives malicious intentions and plots harm, ultimately breaking the law and reaping what she sows. Meanwhile, Lâm Hạ pours this earnestness into public welfare undertakings, living out a high-efficiency life uniquely her own.
