When Gu Jianwei Does Not Return, Where the Heart Finds Peace Is My Hometown
Gu Jianwei is welcomed back by her biological wealthy family, the Gus, only to discover that the welcome banquet hides a murderous intent. Knowing full well that she is allergic to shrimp, the Gu family sets out a table full of boiled shrimp, intending to draw six vials of blood and take her kidney to save their sickly younger sister, Gu Nianci. Naturally suspicious, Gu Jianwei refuses to be manipulated by anyone, recording audio and video to preserve evidence and refusing tissue typing. The Gu family mother uses moral blackmail, the eldest brother forges a kidney donation consent form, the second brother smears her as an ungrateful wretch, and the younger sister plays the victim to incite cyberbullying. Gu Jianwei fights back step by step, submitting a forensic appraisal, and a statement reading "Without consent, there is refusal" sets the entire internet ablaze. The Gu family's conspiracy is exposed, and everyone pays a painful price.
