When Jackals Come There Is A Hunting Rifle
The Japanese invasion shattered the tranquility of Xuefeng Mountain. Xiao Hongxia of the CCP underground party, together with the one-armed Red Army veteran He Qingwei, reorganized the Yao village border-guard team led by Lan Chunlei and other folk forces into the hunting-rifle self-defense team. Using hunting rifles as weapons and the terrain as leverage, they ambushed and harassed the Japanese invaders, escorted Flying Tigers pilots, and assisted the front-line battlefield in eliminating the enemy regimental commander. The work profoundly highlights the unyielding anti-Japanese spirit of the Chinese nation and the great power of ethnic unity, emphasizing the core leadership role of the CCP underground party.
