When the Grapes Ripen, the Old Friend Has Long Gone
After five years of devoted pursuit, Shen Wei's love was gradually exhausted by Xu Lin's indifference. An unexpected incident caused her to lose her recommendation slot for postgraduate studies. Heartbroken, she finally walked away and resolutely went abroad to start a new life. Only after she had completely disappeared did the aloof genius heartthrob finally realize what he had lost. Despite his severe mysophobia, he searched through mountains of garbage with his bare hands to retrieve their keepsake ring. He gave up his privileged life and crossed oceans to find her, even sustaining serious injuries and becoming disabled while protecting her. The once-cherished favorite, who had been held in the palm of his hand, had now become someone begging humbly for her love. But Shen Wei, whose heart had long since turned cold, had already moved on. Her simple words, "I don't love you anymore," left his belated devotion as nothing but a lifelong regret.
