Minmin longs for a free, unconstrained life. As Azhuang's girlfriend, she works multiple part-time jobs and saves diligently to buy him a new phone. While Azhuang cares deeply for Minmin, his possessiveness is suffocating, his attitude toward their relationship is obsessive and extreme, and he groundlessly suspects her of infidelity. Around the same time, Azhuang's company loses a bid, convincing him there is a mole on his team. Under the weight of mounting internal and external stress, any normal interaction between Minmin and Du Zhen triggers jealous arguments, leading to constant clashes between the couple. Exhausted physically and mentally by his relentless control, Minmin resolves to sever ties and leave, yet Azhuang, unable to let her go, refuses to accept that it is over.
