When his twin brother Fu Shihang flees his wedding, their parents force Fu Shihan to take his brother's place for three years to maintain their family's business alliance. At first, Jiang Shuwan, whose heart belongs to another, treats Fu Shihan with cold contempt. Yet Fu Shihan tolerates her every whim with boundless patience, gradually melting her heart—only for everything to unravel the moment her first love, Gu Haoling, returns. Once the three-year term expires, Fu Shihan fulfills his promise and leaves. When Fu Shihang finally returns, Jiang Shuwan belatedly realizes the depth of Fu Shihan's quiet devotion and care.
