Night bus driver Shen Nianwei strictly upholds ancestral rules like "no pregnant women allowed on board," but in reality, she has been plotting revenge for ten years. Using redevelopment as a pretext, she lures the passengers who caused her sister's death years ago onto the bus, using illusions to expose everyone's selfish nature. When a simulated crisis of the "Path to the Afterlife" descends, the passengers turn on each other and reveal their ugly true colors. In the end, the police arrive, the culprits are brought to justice, and Shen Nianwei achieves her revenge, consoling her sister's departed soul.
