After ascending the throne, Emperor Xiao Jingzhan projected his longing for his deceased beloved Yunshu onto Empress Jiang Xunyan, who bore an uncanny resemblance to her. Unrestrained by nature, the empress met the martial artist Lu Chengfeng outside the palace and brought him inside.
