American overseas student Xia Tian, attempting to complete her video assignment, barged into the life of retired professor Xu Mandong on Yuyuan Road in Shanghai. Breaking rigid caretaking rules, she brought smiles back to the wheelchair-bound senior through dancing, delicious food, and late-night drives. Beneath the plane trees, the two explored the hundred-year history of the old streets, while Xia Tian secretly used AI technology to restore the grand scenery of Yuyuan Garden in the senior's memories. Xia Tian was dismissed and returned home due to being "unprofessional," but her graduation project helped the old professor relive bygone days and reconnect with the faces and voices of loved ones. As spring arrived, the standing-again Xu Mandong exchanged a knowing smile with the returning Xia Tian; like a withered tree blooming in spring, this encounter bore a healing flower on Yuyuan Road.
