Wang Qiuxia worked hard for half her life, yet failed to receive even a shred of respect from her husband Chen Weiguo and son Chen Tianlin. In order to rendezvous with his 'white moonlight' Sun Xiaofang, her husband actually forgot their 5-year-old grandson Youyou in a dance hall, causing the child to be trapped in a sewer. Wang Qiuxia searched everywhere like a crazy person, only to be repeatedly cursed and blocked by the father and son, who instead protected Sun Xiaofang in every possible way. Under the massive blow of the child being mistakenly believed dead, Chen Weiguo suffered a stroke and became paralyzed, while her son went to prison for drunk driving. Grief-stricken and awakened, Wang Qiuxia resolutely divorced, and started a new life taking Youyou, who miraculously survived. Meanwhile, Sun Xiaofang, who had defrauded them of all their family property, instantly vanished, and Chen Weiguo ultimately ended up with nothing left in both wealth and human relations, full of remorse and too late to regret.
