Lin Wan, a night-shift clerk at a convenience store on Nuandeng Sky Street, constantly scoops carved coins from the bottom of an oden pot. The inscriptions on the back foretell the grievances of everyday workers: a delivery rider unfairly fined, cleaner Liu Wanfang denied three months of pay, and bubble tea shop clerk Xiao Yu having her wages deducted. One by one, she helps everyone fight for justice and even organizes a grievance sharing meeting. Lao Zhou, the boss who has guarded the pot for ten years, once salvaged ninety-nine coins to help others, yet forgot his own wife's name. When his daughter finally returns and calls him dad, coins no longer float from the pot or bear words, and Nuandeng Street grows warmer and closer together.
