A group of crafty kids forms a building blocks engineering team at their neighborhood sandpit. Using recycled items like delivery boxes, plastic bottles, and popsicle sticks, they start by building bridges that won't collapse, solving various real-world problems in the play area. Facing trenches, slippery slopes, litter, nighttime darkness, and rain-damaged structures, Xiao Zhuan leads A Ming, Duo Duo, and Xiao Tangyuan to brainstorm solutions. With encouragement and help from their parents, they experiment, learn from trial and error, construct bridges, steps, streetlights, and parking spots, and even design drainage systems, accessible ramps, pet-friendly corners, and emergency toolboxes.
