Xibao, A Little Family in the Deep Mountains Grows Toward the Sun
Six-year-old Chen Qingzhi is desperately hungry. Clutching a basket of dandelions, she squeezes through the crowds at the market, hoping to trade them for a little meat and oil for her parents and brothers. Nobody knows that she possesses a magical medicine cabinet that only she can see. The herbs and plants she gathers can be exchanged for white rice, meat, and eggs. After her family is driven out of their ancestral home following a family separation, they cross the river with Third Brother Huo and settle in Shilixi, deep in the mountains. Clearing wasteland, raising silkworms, and selling medicinal herbs, Qingzhi leaves her past life behind and chooses to live fully in the present. With her own two hands, she strives to lead her entire family toward a brighter future.
