Xinmu: Surviving on a Deserted Island
In the 1980s, I became the undisputed fishing king of my fishing village. Upon returning home in glory, the first thing I planned to do was marry Yanyan. Unexpectedly, during my five years away, my own brother secretly got together with my girlfriend. The moment my left foot touched shore, a torrential downpour struck. He immediately conspired with Yanyan to spread rumors that I was a curse on the fishing village. I was forced into exile on a deserted island, penniless and carrying nothing but a bag of sweet potato seeds. The starving castaways on the island eyed me hungrily and tore open my clothes, intent on finding meat to eat.
