Shen Qingyue, head of the Shen Group, falls into operational difficulties due to funding constraints from her ex-husband Jiang Hao. Cheng Yanbai, who runs a restaurant, actively extends a helping hand, proposing a three-year nominal marriage contract to resolve her funding and supply difficulties. After marriage, Shen Qingyue senses that Cheng Yanbai has a hidden identity, and accidentally discovers campus memorabilia he has treasured for eight years, learning that he had fallen for her early on. Jiang Hao and his business partners repeatedly create operational obstacles, but Cheng Yanbai properly plans and resolves the crises, dissolving internal family disputes. An accidental disaster allows the two to express their true feelings, hand in hand clearing away all obstacles, shedding the constraints of the contract, and running towards each other to accompany each other for the rest of their lives.
