My roommate violated rules by bringing family members to stay overnight in the dorm. Her younger brother unauthorizedly rummaged through my personal belongings and even took away my professional study materials. I did not argue, reported it to the police at the very first moment and filed reports with the dormitory management and the college, submitting complete evidence of property theft and privacy intrusion one by one. The other party came over to beg for understanding, and I proposed reasonable compensation based on legal provisions. But on the very night before the graduate school exemption recommendation qualification review, the computer where I stored my application materials unexpectedly went missing, and the school authorities immediately intervened in the investigation.
