72 yaşındaki Gu Changfeng uzun yıllardır emeklidir ve şu anda oğlunun evinde yaşamaktadır. Ailesinin gözünde o, sadece kod tarayamayan, canlı yayın yapamayan ve akıllı televizyonda bile sık sık yanlış tuşlara basan sıradan yaşlı bir adamdır. Torunu Gu Xiaochuan gizlice e-spor gençlik antrenmanlarına katılmaktadır, ancak sıradan aile koşulları ve arka planı olmadığı için takımda uzun süre yedek kulübesinde oturmakta ve zengin ikinci nesil yıldız oyuncu Zhao Yuchen tarafından herkesin içinde aşağılanmaktadır.
