Shen Du, a successor of celestial masters, is forced by his family to intern at a forensic medicine center. Gifted with special spirit vision, he can hear the voices of those who died wrongful deaths. Relying on this ability during autopsies, he cracks several cold cases initially deemed accidents or suicides, only to face skepticism from his colleague Qian Zhiyuan. As the investigation deepens, Shen Du tracks down Wei Qianji, the mastermind behind dark magic murders. Joining forces with his master and companions, he shatters the evil array and subdues him. Ultimately, Shen Du becomes a special case consultant, merging occult metaphysics with forensic science to continue solving cases.
