I Truly Am Just A Wage Earner
Wang Dashan, a migrant worker who suffered humiliation while demanding his unpaid wages, died with a grievance and woke up one day with the guts of a seasoned scoundrel. Facing the black-hearted boss who withheld his blood-and-sweat money, he neither makes a fuss nor smashes anything, only laying out facts, presenting evidence, and talking about the law, relying on live streaming to get back all eighty-six thousand of his hard-earned money down to the last cent. Afterward, he sets up the Dashan Rights Protection Firm, and together with enthusiastic fellow workers, a fiery-tempered auntie, and public interest lawyers, he runs about to prop up bullied female college students, domestic violence victims, and cheated working youths, teaching everyone to use the law to protect themselves. Refusing high-end buyouts, they insist on reasonable fees and rational rights protection, making deadbeat debtors voluntarily return money one by one, letting the weak stand straight.
