Concept artist Shi Yu keeps dreaming of an unknown man dying for her, only for the company's newly appointed CTO, Lu Huaijin, to look identical to the man in her dreams. He claims to come from seven years after her death to fix history and protect her, while warning her of the danger posed by founder Chen Yu'an. Shi Yu gradually discovers that Chen Yu'an comes from another timeline and intends to "correct" her as a variable. After recovering her memories, Shi Yu realizes she originally died to save Lu Huaijin. She destroys the correction device, chooses an unknown future, rewrites Lu Huaijin's directives, and together they embark on a new life.
