Ascension is a sacrificial scam laid out by the Immortal Court. The path to becoming an immortal, cultivated with a lifetime of hardship by mortal cultivators, actually turns into a one-way trip to become nourishment for the immortal world. Mortal sword cultivator Lin Feng accidentally catches a glimpse of this heaven-shaking conspiracy, and joining forces with the moonlight spirit Xi He and Xuan Ji, brandishes his sword to fight back against the nine heavens. Immortal palace thunder presses down on the borders, and archaic fierce beasts break the seal and emerge. When the seven-colored ten-thousand-dao origin appears in the world, the old heavenly dao order hangs by a thread. Lin Feng has no intention of ascending the divine throne, vowing instead to tear apart the ascension lie, redefine the boundary between immortals and mortals, and cause the ten thousand daos to finally return to the mortal soil.
