A historical epic short drama series based on the official history of Zheng He's voyages to the Western Oceans as its core blueprint, focusing on two landmark long-distance voyage events during the Yongle era of the Ming dynasty, integrating imperial court political maneuvering, oceanic adventure, maritime warfare, and diplomatic games, panning across the panoramic display of the magnificent structure of the Great Ming's seafaring golden age and the nation's ritual prestige. Emperor Yongle Zhu Di overrode ministers' dissenting views, established the national policy of voyaging to the Western Oceans, bestowed the eunuch Ma Sanbao the name "Zheng He", conferred the seal of the Commander-in-Chief, and commanded him to assemble the ocean-going fleet to serve as envoy to the Western Oceans. Zheng He and Vice Envoy Wang Jinghong supervised the construction of giant ships and drilled the naval forces at Liujiagang, then led a hundred treasure ships to hoist sails and set forth.
