A Wei runs a company and has grown somewhat distant toward his wife in everyday life. Focusing entirely on his business, he has forgotten the romance of their early days. One day, his wife Hua Zi brings him his favorite egg fried rice, only to catch a seemingly intimate moment between him and his secretary. Upset but choosing to stay silent, she watches as A Wei eats the fried rice and complains about eggshells in it. Their relationship gradually grows colder and more distant, until the secretary unexpectedly steps in to help rekindle the love they once shared.
