Zhao Haichuan, a villager from a fishing community, deeply repents his past mistakes. Relying on his memories and clever fishing techniques, he ventures out to sea to catch prized seafood, pays off debts to local bullies, and protects his fiancée Su Wanqing. He researches live fish transport technology, founds Blue Sea Fishery, and unites fellow villagers to form a mutual aid association to combat monopolistic fish traders and external capital. Faced with severe crises including malicious price wars, sabotaged cold storage equipment, and man-made red tide pollution, Zhao Haichuan adheres to honesty and high standards, opens up premium sales channels through quality, gathers pollution evidence to assist authorities in thoroughly investigating illicit discharge, leads the village fishermen to safeguard their coastal livelihoods, and forges a path toward shared prosperity for local fisheries.
