Gu Nian discovered early on that whatever wish she made, her stepsister Sun Tian would always receive double. After facing yet another instance of family favoritism, she activated the "Wishing System" and launched her counterattack. Wishing for a boyfriend resulted in Sun Tian being paired with a 52-year-old bald uncle; wishing to lose weight led her stepsister to lose 20 pounds straight into the ICU. As their clash escalated, Sun Tian confessed that she had known about this rule since she was six. Ultimately, Gu Nian accepted the apology in her consciousness and bid a peaceful farewell.
