Li Chuan, a top agricultural university graduate, is betrayed by his cousin Li Gang, who dismisses three years of his hard work with a measly 24,000 yuan. Taking his girlfriend Xiu'er with him, Li Chuan leases the barren mountain at Yelanggou and purchases the near-extinct "Medicinal Valley Black Phoenix" silkie chickens. Confronted with feed cutoffs and flash floods, he relies on his expertise to turn them into top-tier poultry. Li Gang conspires with capitalist tycoon Boss Zhao to suppress him through diseased chickens fed with hormones, monopolizing the cold chain to choke logistics, and pre-emptively trademarking "Yelanggou". Unyielding, Li Chuan breaks the siege using indigenous cold chain techniques, wins back the trademark via geographic indication records from the Qingshui County Annals, establishes a full-chain traceability system, and unites ten villages into a breeding alliance—crushing the corporate monopoly with transparent real-time data and unmatched quality.
