Intern Cen Yu'an accidentally sees a piece of "missing person news three days later," predicting that she and Ye Mi will go missing after taking an unlicensed cab. But as the two continually try to evade danger, new breaking news items keep appearing even earlier. They gradually discover this isn't foreseeing the future, but someone secretly pre-writing their disappearance and death. During their investigation, a bizarre cold case from three years ago is reopened, uncovering a hidden network of pre-manufactured news. In the end, Cen Yu'an joins forces with Wen Shuo to smoke out the mastermind, proving that those so-called "news from three days later" were never fate, but human traps. The real ending must be written by oneself.
