Facing imminent disbandment, the chronically last-place sports class of Tianlong High meets their savior in the form of "demon teacher" Qin Tian. His bizarre training methods—blowing up balloons, wearing iron shoes—draw fierce skepticism, yet propel the squad to stun everyone in the three-school joint exam. Resolving his students' inner burdens, he rallies them into an all-out sprint. The class pulls off an astonishing comeback to win the provincial championship, completely shedding their underachiever reputation. Later, at Qin Tian and Su Mei's grand wedding, his former students gather, dazzling the entire hall. On the eve of graduation, the students challenge their mentor to one last match; walking away soundly defeated, they run into provocations from a rival martial arts academy, only for Qin Tian to step in and overpower them all. The humbled rivals drop to their knees pleading, "Please take us as your disciples!"—and a brand-new legend begins.
