After being betrayed by his subordinate, Crown Prince Feng Tianqi travels back in time to the Great Qian Dynasty. After regaining the original owner’s memories, he realizes he is merely a puppet ruler in the imperial court, where Grand Tutor Liu Zhongfeng and the Empress Dowager control all power. With his son’s help, Crown Prince Feng Tianqi secretly builds up his forces, allies himself with a virtuous general, plants Ratih beside Grand Tutor Liu Zhongfeng as a spy, and wins the people’s hearts through disaster relief efforts. When Grand Tutor Liu Zhongfeng stages a rebellion, Crown Prince Feng Tianqi turns the tide and takes back his throne.
