Xiao Ran returns home early from a business trip hoping to surprise his wife Liu Qing, only to accidentally catch her having an affair with Jiafeng in their marital bed. Suppressing his rage, Xiao Ran quietly gathers evidence, discovering that Liu Qing is not only cheating, but is also pregnant with Jiafeng's child—and Jiafeng happens to be Lin Wei's husband. Xiao Ran tracks down Lin Wei, who was likewise betrayed, and the two immediately join forces. First, they create noises in an adjacent hotel room to sow doubt between Liu Qing and Jiafeng; then, they orchestrate a grand "surprise"—inviting both sets of parents, Liu Qing's brother, and journalists under the guise of an anniversary and birthday celebration to livestream the infidelity and expose their disgraceful affair to the public.
