When Starlight Falls at Dusk is a 22-episode urban workplace comeback AI animated drama set in the interior design industry, telling a complete story around the core themes of women's growth, staying true to one's original aspirations, and mutual redemption. Because she was soft-hearted and trusting, heroine Shen Zhiwan had her design work stolen by Jiang Hao, her boyfriend of many years, and Bai Ruoyao, her classmate and best friend, working together; her career was ruined and she hit rock bottom. Waking from a dream, she finds herself three days before the first draft of a landmark commercial project is due—the very beginning of all her tragedies. Living again, Shen Zhiwan puts away her weakness and empathy, holds to her professional principles and her passion for design, and with solid professional skill takes back everything she lost in her past life.
